1. What is a memorial / corpus fund?

It is a fund you create in We Care, to preserve the memory of someone or some event. For example, you may wish to create a memorial fund to preserve the memory of a loved one, for example, in your own name or in the name your grandparents, parents, spouse, children, grand-children, relative or even a friend. Or you may wish to create a memorial fund to mark an important occasion, for example, birthday, wedding, death of a loved one and anniversaries. Or you may simply wish to create a memorial fund to sponsor a particular cause, for example, education of children, care of orphans, welfare of the girl-child, empowerment of women, care of disabled, care of the sick, infirm and dying, old age, widows, leprosy, health care of cancer, diabetic, kidney and psychiatric patients, etc.

Many people wish to have their names or the names of their family preserved in history or would like to mark important occasions in their lives or would like to support a particular cause. Inorder to do this it would be necessary to go through the long-winding and tiresome procedure of creating a Trust. In We Care we have made it possible for any one to create a fund without having to go through the entire legal process of forming a legal entity.
